Your healthcare team has identified you as someone who would significantly benefit from a low dose statin to reduce your cardiovascular risk. Statins are one of the most well-researched medications, with studies repeatedly showing strong evidence that they are a safe way to help prevent heart disease.

By starting this medication, you will benefit from the following

Help in maintaining and repairing your blood vessels

Reduced chance of heart attack and stroke

Reduced chance of dementia

Reduced chance of an emergency admission to hospital

In the unlikely event that you do not tolerate the statin, we will provide follow-up through this programme to support your needs.
