Eclipse (Equality of Care-Led Insights for Patient Safety and Engagement) is an accredited NHS data information service that is designed to assist in ensuring that patients' preferences are captured for enhanced clinical outcomes and assist prioritised access to patient support programmes. The Eclipse system is securely integrated with your GP system to ensure that your data confidentiality is always respected. Eclipse never stores any of your personally identifiable information and never passes on your information to any healthcare provider without your GP consent.
Eclipse is the system utilised by 25 of the NHS Integrated Care Systems to securely manage and support patient data services. It currently has patient portals for over 27 million patients and processes over 10 billion rows of patient data each week for the NHS. Eclipse ensures that any identifiable information is always held encrypted within an NHS accredited server.
